To seek out solutions in the best interest of our community and our Township. To continue to embrace and protect our environment and our unique lifestyle community with a balanced approach to future development.

 

Focus

ENGAGED COMMUNITIES:  Building a welcoming interrelationship between the public and council. You want to be heard, respected, and allowed to engage productively in partnership with our Township. Communication that is regular and proactively sent and readily available to you. Modernization of processes and services to make it easy for you!

MINDFUL DEVELOPMENT: Development pressures impact the rural nature of our communities. Conscious development with a focus on the protection of our environment, retention of our natural beauty and continued enjoyment of active lifestyles. Proactive long-term planning; Infrastructure, water and wastewater, internet capabilities, roads, and environmental impact.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY: Resource allocation through a comprehensive planning process. Alignment of operational and capital planning with strategic priorities. Promotion of a sound fiscal climate, internal controls and responsible resource stewardship. 

COMMUNITY SAFETY: Road Speed, sidewalks, road construction, school and recreation centre requires careful review and planning. Strengthening expectation of Township By-law enforcement and Provincial policing.
