Our community saftey is paramount. As a member of the Township Traffic Safety Committee, I am able to take forward community concerns regarding pedestrian and road safety. Over the past three years, a number of initiatives have taken place to assist in awareness and safety measures.
1) Designation of Community Safety Zones on Line 4 and Line 6.
2) OPP Town Hall – Topic: Road Safety
3) Installation of Flashing School Signage on Horsheshoe Valley Road
4) Reduction of Speed on Horseshoe Valley Road
5) Proposal for speed reduction to 40km on Line 4, and a Flashing School Sign (To be approved).
