The potential of the annexation of Oro-Medonte lands by the City of Barrie is top of mind for our communities and Council. During the May 28th Council meeting, Council received correspondence from City of Barrie Mayor Alex Nuttall and a proposed agreement. Council approved a motion to respond to Mayor Nuttall’s proposal, which included principles to guide ongoing discussion with the City of Barrie., The Township of Springwater, the County of Simcoe, and the Office of the Provincial Land Facilitator.
